The purpose of the public hearing process is to obtain citizen views and comments on Limerick Township’s 2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Application. The Township expects to receive an entitlement grant of $195,080 from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for Federal Fiscal Year 2017. CDBG funds may be used for the following three (3) purposes:
1. Activities which benefit low and moderate income persons of Limerick Township;
2. Activities which correct conditions of slum and blight; and
3. Activities that meet an urgent need. Limerick Township's Public Hearings are scheduled for September 19, 2017 and December 5, 2017 at 7:00 P.M.
