BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The governing body consists of five elected officials who
serve six-year terms. The terms are staggered and not more
than two terms expire at any one time.
Under the authority of the Pennsylvania
Second Class Township Code, the Board is responsible for setting
policy and adopting ordinances and resolutions in order to
ensure the sound fiscal management of the township and to
secure the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the
municipality. All official business of the Board is conducted
at public meetings which are held on Thursday evenings, 7:00
p.m. at the municipal building. Click

ZONING HEARING BOARD
The Zoning Hearing Board is a 5-member quasi-judicial board
(3 members and 1 alternate) that has exclusive jurisdiction
to hear appeals and render final decisions, including but
not limited to: challenges to the validity of any land use
ordinance, procedural questions or defects, determinations
of the zoning officer, appeals from determinations of a municipal
engineer or zoning officer with regard to flood plain issues,
requests for variances, special exceptions, and transfer of
development rights.
This Board meets on the fourth Wednesday
of each month (or as necessary) at the Municipal Building
at 6:30 p.m.
