PLANNING COMMISSION
The Planning Commission consists of seven members who are appointed to four year terms by the Board of Supervisors. The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding subdivision and land development plans, current ordinances and amendments thereto, the review of the Comprehensive Plan, etc.

Planning Commission Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month. All meetings are held at the Limerick Township Building. Click here for the meeting agendas and minutes.

PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE

Mission Statement: To provide all citizens with the opportunity to enjoy quality leisure time within the Limerick Township recreation system.

The Parks and Recreation Committee is a seven member committee. Its members are appointed to five-year terms by the Board of Supervisors.

Their function is to adopt rules and regulations for the parks and recreation facilities and to recommend and organize recreational activities and special events as delegated by the Board of Supervisors.

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month (with additional meetings as necessary.) Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. and are held at the Municipal Building. Click here for meeting schedule.

Open Space Committee
The Limerick Township Open Space Committee assists the Township in identifying, procuring and raising funds to preserve open space and maintain the rural character of the Township.

The Open Space Committee meets on an as-needed basis.

Emergency Management Coordinator
Responsibilities of the Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) involve developing, reviewing, updating and maintaining the Township Emergency Response Plan and its Radiological Emergency Response Plan for the Limerick Generating Station. Click here to learn more.
