1. Does Limerick Township require permits for fencing?

Limerick Township does not, at the present time, require permits for fencing a property. However, the fence does need to meet certain requirements as listed in the supporting document. Fence Guidelines

2. Do I need a permit to re-roof my home?

Yes, a permit is required to re-roof a residential dwelling.

3. When is a residential construction permit required?

A residential construction permit is required for all additions and alterations to a residential building, including accessory buildings like sheds, garages, barns, and decks that are 30 inches or more above grade. Finishing basements and modifications and changes to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems also require permits. Residential Construction Permit

5. Does the Township require a Use & Occupancy Permit for a residential re-sale?

Limerick Township does not require Use and Occupancy permits for residential resale.

Yes, a Zoning Use Permit is needed for commercial re-sales or a new commercial tenant in a commercial property.
